It was another dramatic night in The Kendal Winter Futsal League at Queen Katherine School.
In the first game Hunky FC won a dramatic contest with Fiorentina Turner as they overhauled a 6-4 deficit in a crazy four-minute spell to win 7-6.
Fiorentina Turner, who prior to the night were top of the league, kept going ahead> However Hunky FC, who are made of players from Ibis Football Club, kept fighting back, mainly due to the efforts of Connor Stephenson, who scored five goals.
However with four minutes to go Hunky FC scored two quick-fire goals making it 6-6, before snatching victory in the last minute for the most dramatic of wins.
In the other games defending champions Bam FC ran out 11-6 winners against Sporting Gibbon, while Dun Horse Academicals eased past Burneside Present N Past it in an 8-2 win.
The final game of the night sawMEB FC cruise to a 9-2 win over Murder on Zidanes Floor.
With just a few weeks left of The Winter Futsal League, things couldn’t be any closer with Hunky FC, MEB FC, Dun Horse Academicals and Fiorentina Turner all locked on nine points at the top. League holders BAM FC are also in contention with six points.
