THE first in the 2015 series of Lakeland Lanequest cycling orienteering events kicks off from the Wheatsheaf Inn, Brigsteer on Tuesday.

Now in it's 20th year, Lakeland Lanequests have grown steadily over the years to regularly attract up to 120 riders at each of the six local venues, on consecutive Tuesday evenings in June - and once again will receive support from the UK's largest cycle store and local business Wheelbase.co.uk, and Wilfs Cafe in Staveley Mill Yard.

Each of the six strong evening series of two hour cycling orienteering events has raised an average of £350 for each organiser's nominated charity over the years, and for event 1, organiser Carol McNeill has nominated Oxen Park Cinema Club.

Further information on each event, with a link to pre entry can be found on:

http://www.wheelbase.co.uk/event/lakeland-lanequest/ or www.bmbo.org.uk .

Entries will also be accepted on the night. Entry fees are as low as £5, and classes are for male and female solo riders, pairs, families and generation riders .
