Two beautiful new hardback books from the Wordsworth Trust

William Wordsworth, An Anthology £6.99

Always inspired by his love of nature, many of the poems in the anthology of William Wordsworth's work were, again, written during the time William spent in Grasmere at Dove Cottage. This beautiful pocket sized selection of some of Wordsworth's best known poems includes, of course, I wandered lonely as a Cloud. Published by the Wordsworth Trust themselves, this little book is an excellent introduction to his works and a lovely memory jogger for any already familiar with the work of one of the most important writers of the Romantic period.

Dorothy Wordsworth, An Anthology £6.99

This very special book contains a selection of her greatest writing, including major extracts from her much loved Grasmere Journal, written whilst living at Dove Cottage. Other journal extracts featured include pieces from her Alfoxden and Scottish Journals.

Dorothy was also a prolific letter writer. This anthology includes extracts from many of these letters to friends and family, building a fascinating picture of her life and her world.
