Plans are already taking off for this year’s largest aviation event in the North West. Southport – England’s Classic Resort – will once again host this popular event at the resort’s seafront on Saturday and Sunday, September 26 and 27 and we have five family passes to give away.

Southport Air Show features a thrilling flying programme on both days including a wide range of military and civilian aircraft, the latest fast jets, vintage aircraft, helicopters, aerobatic and model aircraft displays, military manoeuvres and parachute displays.

There is also plenty of entertainment on the ground including the interactive military village with displays from the Armed Forces as well as commercial trade stands, static aircraft displays, and military vehicles – something for all the family.

More than 100,000 people attend Southport Air Show, which offers a wide range of discounts and facilities for groups.

Great discounts can be made for pre-booked groups of 12 or more with free coach parking close to the seafront. There is also one free ticket for every 12 booked.

Tickets are £5 if booked in advance or £8 on the gate with under 5’s going free. Tickets are exchanged for wristbands for those wishing to leave the showground to visit the town centre or other attractions. Plus don’t forget the VIP package, which includes VIP entrance and car parking, an all-weather marquee which serves refreshments throughout the day and premier viewing from the Southport Pier (not open to the public). Tickets are only £50.

For further information or to book tickets visit www.southportairshow.com or call 01704 540011. For group enquiries or to book VIP tickets contact Julia Fahey on 01704 395510.
