THERE is no excuse for being bored this Easter holiday, with a range of activities available at lakes leisure Kendal for youngsters and families alike.

With the children off school why not make a splash at the leisure centre as part of a Family Aqua class?

If you want to workout on dry land then why not see what all the fuss is about with a Studio Cycling session?

The workout takes the form of an exercise bike circuit, with a huddle of gym goers peddling along to the latest music while being urged on by a qualified motivational instructor. This Easter holiday there is a special session for those aged between 14-19 Tuesdays, April 7 and 14 and Thursdays, April 9 and 16 between 2-2.45pm. Places are expected to go fast so book in advance. Each session is £4.

For children with additional needs, lakes leisure has announced a series of family inclusion days.

The sessions allow children with assistance requirements to enjoy sporting activities in the company of their families and qualified educational instructors.

The next inclusion day is on Sunday, April 26 between 12noon-2pm and will be based around racket sports and games. The centre has also scheduled eight further inclusion days for 2009-2010. The cost is £5.00 per family and places must be booked in advance.
