A party of dance students and their tutors from our twin town (Albert) in France visited Ulverston over the weekend of Friday 11th July, to Monday the 14th.
The group call themselves GAMA and our Town Clerk on behalf of the Ulverston Albert Association arranged a programme of events. These included a Dance Class, a visit to Furness Traditions Festival and a tour of the Lake District and several receptions.
It was a very busy weekend for everyone concerned and our visitors left for home early Monday morning tired but happy.
