Ulverston's ford park is holding the first of its art in the park events on Sunday, May 5th.

Notably, local artists including Peter and Marie Graves, Val Stangoe, Rebecca Bennett, Sarah Brown, and Nisha Halo will display their artistry during the event.

The Art in the Park, an integral part of Ulverston Fringe, will take place throughout various locations in the park - Coach House Courtyard, Terrace and Walkway, and especially the Williams Room.

In addition to the art exhibition, Ford Park is also orchestrating a Classic Car Show on the same day which is quite appealing to motor enthusiasts.

More than 70 classic and vintage cars and bikes from the area will be displayed, with their owners and other enthusiasts in attendance.

This action-packed event will also feature a bouncy castle, face painting activities to entertain little visitors and an array of food and drink vendors for everyone's satisfaction.

Ford Park's garden will be open for visitors to enjoy the outdoors, while the Beehive shop and plant nursery will be welcoming customers.

Attendance for the combined events is free.

Proceeds from stall sales, however, will go towards funding Ford Park charity.

For more information regarding these and other forthcoming events at Ford Park, visitors are urged to visit the park's event page.
