A tea and coffee company based in Kendal has raised over £5,000 to help carers across South Lakes.
The team at Penningtons Tea and Coffee presented the cheque for £5,087 to Carer Support South Lakes on Wednesday, February 21.
The charity described how thrilled they were following the 'amazing accomplishment', with the award-winning, local business dedicating recent fundraising efforts to the cause.

A spokesperson from Carer Support said: "From creating the delicious Carers Coffee blend to hosting events and donating prizes, their dedication knows no bounds.
"Over 200 bags of Carers Coffee were sold - Gina's [the director at Penningtons] passion for helping others shone through as she chose Carer Support South Lakes for 2023, even using her 50th birthday celebrations to boost funds."
