James Cropper has won the Sustainable Innovation Award for the second time in a row at this year's Paris Packaging Week.

It celebrates the global leader in luxury packaging and creative papers' work with French champagne house Maison Perrier-Jouët.

This victory reinforces James Cropper's pioneering legacy of fusing beauty, functionality, and responsible practices.

The cornerstone of the successful entry was the Belle Epoque Cocoon, an eco-designed gift box.

Contributing a creative blend of elegance and environmental commitment, the Belle Époque Cocoon encases Maison Perrier-Jouët’s vintage cuvées Perrier-Jouët Belle Epoque and Perrier-Jouët Belle Epoque Rosé.

Brought to life using only paper pulp from sustainably managed forests and vine shoots from France, the end result is recyclable, circular in design, and 93 per cent lighter than the former gift box design.

The packaging is also entirely developed without varnish or glue.

The 100 per cent renewable energy harnessed attributes to the company's solar and hydro plants, an impressive initiative showcasing James Cropper’s Luxury Moulded Packaging production operations.

The inclusion of vine shoots adds to the green attributes of the packaging, offering the gift box a distinct aesthetic.
