INTERNATIONALLY acclaimed artists, who can typically be only seen in galleries in London and Manchester, are now stocked at Windermere Fine Art Gallery.

Fabian Perez, Danielle O’Connor Akiyama, Sannib, Sheree Valentine-Daines, Pete Humphreys and Andrei Prostuk are among the new artists now available in the Lakes.

This is the largest selection of artists in Cumbria and North Lancashire.

Fabian Perez is a celebrated artist who was Italian Academy of Artists' Artist of the Year 2014 and the official artist at the 2010 Latin Grammy Awards.

Fabian has also been a guest at the Vatican where he presented Pope Francis with his original portrait.

The Fabian Perez paintings at Windermere Fine Art Gallery feature some of his most recognisable works as well as limited edition prints.

Danielle O'Connor Akiyama art features flowers and abstract shapes that break free from structure and is created by Sumi-e, a type of Japanese brush painting.

Her work blends Eastern and Western art styles to create a beautiful, eye catching fusion.

Windermere Fine Art Gallery has an original Sannib which is a portrait of Marilyn Monroe in a blue and gold colour palette which is inspired by nature.

The Westmorland Gazette:

Owner Dawn said: "We’re delighted to add to our collection so significantly, but our gallery is not just for art connoisseurs. Many people come to us looking for a piece of art to complete their home and fall in love with the unusual and playful pieces we have on offer here.

"We’re often asked how to choose art as an investment. We always say that you need to fall in love with a piece first and then it will give you years and years of joy. We do know that a number of pieces we’ve sold at Windermere Fine Art Gallery have gone up in value in just the two years we’ve been open and always have our eye on who’s highly collectible, so many of our pieces could be a great investment financially as well as emotionally."

It was the dream of Dawn and Matthew Titherington, the husband and wife team who own Windermere Fine Art Gallery, to open an art gallery.

Owner, Matthew, said: "In the two years we’ve been open, we’ve worked hard to ensure that we offer something unique. Being independent and family run means we can really help and get to know our customers and understand what they’re looking for. Some people know the minute they see a piece whereas others are more indecisive so we can help advise.

"We look forward to welcoming everyone in Cumbria and Lancashire to come and have a browse. All art aficionados, now don’t have to travel to big cities to view the latest work from your favourite artists and help build your collections."
