A man, in his fifties, has died in a one-vehicle collision at Wrynose Pass yesterday.
The collision, which involved a white Volkswagen Touareg, took place at Little Langdale, Ambleside.

The family of the man, from Cheshire, have been informed.
Police were called at 11.42 am yesterday.
The road was closed for most of the day until after midnight for collision investigation work and recovery of the vehicle.
Police would like to speak to any witnesses to the collision, anyone with information should call 101 and quote log number 85 of September 21.
