POLICE are hunting for a man who assaulted a taxi driver in Ulverston.
Officers said the assault happened at around 11.40pm on Bank Holiday Monday (May 25).
The offender was driven to North Lonsdale Road, near the junction with Cross Lane, after being picked up on King Street.

Police said the passenger then assaulted the taxi driver and made off without paying.
The driver, a 44-year-old man was not left with any injuries.
Anyone with information is asked to call PC John Reed, at Ulverston police station on 101.
