THE Federation of Small Businesses has announced an event for business people to debate and discuss what the next Government should do to help small businesses ahead of this year’s General Election.
Parliamentary candidates for Westmorland and Lonsdale will take part in a hustings event at The Marchesi Centre in Windermere on Friday March 27 from 6pm to state their views on what support should be available to help small businesses to grow and provide more jobs.
FSB Development Manager Paul Foster said: “This event is open to anyone involved in business in the local area and we look forward to welcoming candidates from the various sides of the debate. "Supporting small businesses is a hot topic at the moment and the event could go a long way to helping local businesspeople in deciding how to cast their vote come polling day.”
